Manchester Unitedβs quest to sign Jordan Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer has suffered a big blow as the German clubβs sporting director Michael Zorc insists he is in the clubβs plans for next season.
The England international β who is valued by his club at Β£108m β has travelled with the Dortmund squad for their pre-season training camp in the Swiss spa town of Bad Ragaz.
Dortmund previously indicated they wanted a deal completed by the time they headed out for that camp to give them sufficient time to purchase a replacement, and Zorc has now appeared to confirm that Sancho will be staying at the club for the 2020/21 season.
- βWe plan on having Jadon Sancho in our team this season, the decision is final. I think that answers all our questions,β Zorc told reporters on Monday.

He added: βLast summer, we adjusted Jadonβs salary to match the development of his performances. So in context, we had already extended his contract until 2023 back then.β
